The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office is travelling across the state to help Minnesotans seal their records and get a fresh start for the future.
For many Minnesotans, an old conviction can make it harder to find a job, obtain housing, or get certain job-related professional licenses. Minnesota is a state that believes in second chances and redemption, which is why the Attorney General’s Office is hosting expungement clinics across the state of Minnesota to help seal old criminal records.
If you have a criminal record for an offense that was prosecuted in a state court, the Attorney General’s Office may be able to help you determine if you qualify for expungement. If you qualify, they may be able to help you get your record sealed by the Court at no cost to you.
If you’re unable to make it to the event, you can still see if you qualify for expungement by submitting an application to helpsealmyrecord.org.
The Duluth Expungement Clinic is happening at the Damiano Center on Tuesday, September 10th from 10am - 3pm. Walk-ins will be accepted until 2:30.
